EXPANDING THE BRAND

Now the parent company behind it, Spark Networks, is branching into another rich area with the launch of the redesigned Catholic Mingle. The idea is the same: Allowing a place for those whose religion is very important to them to meet a (possible) like-minded mate. And the site wants prospective searchers to know they’ve added some features, including: 50 new uplifting and spiritual eCards to help break the ice (Yawn.); Searchable scriptures to help spread God's word (Woo-hoo.); and a new Photo Shuffle tool that gives members an easier way to find matches and helps profiles get noticed more often (Bingo!). Spark Networks is also the brains behind AmericanSingles.com, BlackSingles.com, and LDSMingle.com, for the Mormons among us. Talk about cornering a market.
