Proving once again that there’s a market (and a buyer) for everything, a Japanese company is planning to bring its “Pocket Cooler” to the U.S.—just in time for the coming winter season. And what is that, you might ask? “The ‘Pocket Cooler’ is an ingenious spray-in-a-can cooling mist that serves as an ideal companion for hot summer days. Available in a sleek and compact ozone-friendly atomizer, the spray works by providing a refreshing cooling effect when sprayed directly onto clothes or sun-baked surfaces such as car interiors.” How this differs from buying a plastic spray bottle and spritzing yourself when overheated is unclear. But the company, C.C. Medico, notes that “in Japan alone, the product has been a huge success with over 700,000 units already sold. Which might seem impressive until a quick search reveals that the current population of Japan is tad over 127 Million. (Apparently, the people over there aren’t as dumb as C.C. Medico might hope.) And here’s a bonus for you: Go to CCMedico.com/hk and read their fractured attempts at explaining their product. Yes, it’s mean…but Funny!
