Let’s tread real carefully here. Bringing a whole new meaning to the word symmetry, we got word today of a, ummm, “personal massager” that is powered by your iPod. The unit is called, directly enough, “OhMiBod,” and it’s described as “a music-powered vibrator that translates tunes from iPods into vibrations.” (Hoo boy.) But here’s the real kicker: the company has spent zero dollars on advertising, and has still managed to sell more than 2,000 of the $69 units via word of mouth and the blogosphere since launching three months ago. Plus, the inventor, who goes by the single-moniker name Suki, claims to have 500 members of a beta test team in place, who “provide input regarding its initial design, name and messaging.” (Furiously blushing now…) Naturally, Suki also markets add-ons, which she calls “AcSEXsories.” The full story can be found Here, but it’s really not all that safe for work, so wait’ll you get home. As for us, we don’t even smoke, but we suddenly feel the need for a cigarette. Hope it was good for you…
Thx! :)
