STILL WANT THAT XBOX 360?

If you haven’t been able to afford a new Xbox 360 Core System, Amazon.com is giving you a chance to grab one for $100. The online retailer, trying to draw shoppers to its site for the holidays, asked customers which of four items they’d like to see go on sale online. The Xbox 360 garnered 84% of the vote, so on Thanksgiving Day at 2 p.m. (ET), gamers nationwide will log on and try their luck. Of course, there’ll be more disappointed than happy shoppers (they’ll have 1,000 units at that price), so we’re not sure this won’t blow up in Amazon’s face, but we give them kudos for a heads-up campaign. Hey, it caught our attention.
