Also out of California today, an Altadena company is jumping on the pets bandwagon by marketing its “British Punk Kilt” for male dogs. The company, Chi Wow Wow, notes in a release, “The kilt, traditionally worn by men, can now be purchased for male dogs, by their owners who want something fun and different for their close companion.” (Someone should ask the dog how it feels about that.) The kilt is the latest in a line of fashion accessories for mutts, aimed at people who, according to the company, “have plenty of money to spend on them.” (Eyes rolling now…) It retails for 50 (!) bucks, and the complete line can be found at Chi Wow Wow.com. Question: What you do with a kilt-wearing dog when it raises its leg? Um, Ew.
