In an attempt to garner some attention for the 2007 Sebring, Chrysler is trying something new. The carmaker will attempt to break the Guinness World Record (currently 1,169 participants) for the largest game ever of "Simon Says" at the Chicago Auto Show Feb. 9. “While Chrysler's game will start with some familiar commands from the traditional ‘Simon Says,’ the brand will add a unique twist to the game by incorporating the Chrysler Sebring into the final rounds of competition. The last contestant standing at the end of ‘Sebring Says’ will win a 24-month lease on an all-new 2007 Chrysler Sebring,” the company said. Sounds like fun, and a great way to draw some press (Hey, they caught OUR eye!). Interested participants can register at Chrysler Sebring Says.com. And we especially like this part of their release: “The game will be led by famous performer, Lou ‘Simon Says’ Goldstein, who will use his ‘sim-antics’—mastermind skills and expertise—to prompt contestants and entertain spectators.” Someone actually makes a living playing “Simon Says”? Something ELSE our high school guidance counselor never mentioned….
