AND IF YOU CAN’T DRIVE, FLY

Expect word to start dribbling out of The Netherlands in the not-too-distant future about marketing efforts for a new type of Flying Car. Yes, the stuff of science fiction dreams is coming together at PAL-V Europe, a company getting ready to build a Personal Air and Land Vehicle (Hence the acronym, PAL-V). No launch date has been set yet, but their PAL-V Web site is loaded with slick pictures and testimonials about the gadget. There’s no price point either, and a release they sent didn’t clear up anything. In it, they claim: “Driving and flying combined [costs] little more than an executive saloon car.” A what?!
