Every so often in the print version of “Short Takes” we run a caption contest, and there’s one going on right now. All you have to do is come up with a funny caption for an odd advertising photo. This week’s is courtesy of the folks at Dolce & Gabbana (See below). Just click on it for a better look, and then send your caption ideas to Senior Editor Jim Edwards at Jedwards@brandweek.com. The best entries will be printed in a future issue, along with the writers’ names. What could be easier?

CNN Headline News: D&G agency fired for placing this accidental photo in magazine spread for their client. The photo originally intended for a performance art student performance as part of a pro-bono effort from the agency was mixed up in the production phase and ran globally. Executives at D&G signed off on the work, but in order to save face, fired the agency.
