SOMEONE DIDN’T GET THE MEMO

Word out of Clinton Township, Mich., today is that Online Amish Furniture.com has acquired Amish Alley.com, another maker of you-know-what. Aren’t these the same people who shun the outside world, eschewing electricity and cars in favor of candlelight and horse-drawn buggies? Maybe not. The press release we got notes “Online Amish Furniture and Amish Alley are hacker safe sites, protecting online shoppers from identity theft and credit card fraud,” and “Both websites offers live chat support, also known as live help.” We’re kinda disappointed, actually, as another piece of innocence seems to fade away….
