Trying to draw a little attention (and business) to their site in these days of religious strife, the nonbelievers behind Atheism Quotes have a unique approach: they maintain that history was FULL of atheists, but because they kept their feelings largely to themselves, most folks are unaware of those leanings. So, in order to right this wrong (and make a couple of bucks in the process), they’re selling T-shirts with the words of famous atheists proudly emblazoned on the front. (And ignore for the moment the fact that they sent us this release on Good Friday. Man, talk about tempting the gods….) Their site has a nice collection of available quotes, broken down into categories such as Humor, Intelligence, Lyrics and, with a nod to The Almighty, God. Smart move, that; always hedge your bets.
