STREET THEATER IS ABOUT TO GET REAL

TV network VH-1 is trying to promote its new reality series in New York, Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School staring Mo’Nique in a rather gutsy way. They tell us the network will have “Charm School ambassadors (basically attractive girls in school girl uniforms [Ed.: Woo-hoo!] passing out gifts to pedestrians who exude charm, and citations for those who have lude behavior.” (And yes, that’s exactly how they spelled “lewd.” Which conjures up a whole ‘nother image in our twisted little head.) But the best part promises some fireworks; those women who display “ill-mannered behavior” will be issued said ‘citations.’ Such behavior includes “…an obnoxious cell phone ring, potty mouth, invasion of personal space, [and] suspicious odor [italics added], among others.” Can you just envision it now? “Girl, you smell. Here, take this!” This is gonna be better’n Cops.
