Today being the first of June, it’s the kickoff date for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, so savvy marketers are jumping on the panic bandwagon to push stuff people might need if the Big One blows through. Up first (and we’re sure there will be many more) is the all new “waterBOB” (complete with “edgy” typeface, so you KNOW they’re hip). It’s a way to ensure you have some potable water on hand. Let’s let them explain it: “The waterBOB is very easy to use. Simply lay the liner in any standard bathtub, attach the fill sock to the faucet and fill the bladder to capacity, which takes approximately 20 minutes. A siphon pump is included to easily dispense the water into jugs or pitchers.” So, if you lose all power, and water, and everything else, at least you won’t be parched. Cool picture and further details are at the waterBOB.com Web site. Looks like a waterbed liner to us.
