ELVIS PRESLEY; STILL DEAD

It’ll be thirty years next month since the King of Rock & Roll passed away, but that small, bothersome detail hasn’t stopped his estate from churning out money like they’re printing it. Case in point today: a new set of Elvis-branded jewelry from Elvis Presley Jewellery.com. The British site is offering up a number of Elvis-themed items including “TLC Gold and Diamond earrings” (complete with lightning bolts. Really.), an official Elvis “Caught in a Trap” solid gold ring (with his official signature inside. Woo-hoo!) and the highlight of the set, a solid silver Elvis Presley coin, with his mug on the front and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth (!) on the back. Because, as everyone knows, when you think “Elvis” you automatically also think, “Queen Elizabeth.” (Yeah, right.) Wonder what her cut is?
