Who’s the greatest Elvis impersonator of them all? A new Web site, built specifically in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the King’s passing, is hoping to find out. The World’s Greatest Elvis.com is now up and running, looking for you-know-who. Hopefuls are invited to submit videos to YouTube. First prize is a rather weak $500, but the site promises lots of worldwide promotion to the winner of the title, picked by fans. Oh, and not so incidentally, the site is also selling commemorative “pixels” for a mere $50 for a 100-pixel unit. And there are 10,000 such units available. Do the math. NOW it’s starting to make sense…
