Ever hear of the “Freedom Grill”? Yeah, us neither, but it recently won an award for an infomercial that shows in three minutes what the thing does. Briefly, it’s a barbecue grill that attaches to a truck’s trailer hitch, then swings away from the vehicle for cooking. It’s probably one of the cooler new products we’ve seen in a while. We’d love to take one to tailgate at the NY Jets’ home opener this year, as we were offered four seats (for free!) on the fifty-yard line. But someone in the family thought that would be an ideal day to throw a “Jack & Jill” wedding shower for his daughter, and apparently family-member attendance is required. Yeah, that’ll be fun, too.
