ReminderMed.com estimates that more than 100,000,000 patients take their medication incorrectly. So in order to help rectify this situation and maybe make a couple of bucks in the process, they’re pushing their eponymous service. The forgetful are invited to sign up at ReminderMed.com, to receive text messages on their cell phone basically saying, “Time to Pop a Pill!” Of course, this presumes that their target audience A) HAS a cell phone; B) knows how to Use It; C) Remembers to turn it on and; D) Remembers to pay the $9.99 monthly bill. Other than that, we see no reason why this shouldn’t work.
Actually .. I really do like the TAKE YER MEDS Harry, idea since you really can help ensure that they have a cell phone; that it's turned on and paid for. Most people taking care of spouses or parents live close enough to check those things the same way they check their own. Like the line from Young Frankenstein -- "it...could...work!".
Oh.. and the headline: Bend it Like Beckham?
