That phrase rang through our head today as we learned that online retailer Natural Area Rugs.com is touting its latest offering, the Ultra Shag Area Rug. “The environmentally friendly Ultra Shag Area Rugs are made with lush 2-¼ inch thick pile, from 100% acrylic yarn and have pure cotton backing,” they crow. Yeah, they look swell. But we can tell you from Personal Experience (And just never you mind how old we are) that we had one back in the day, an it was chock full off Cheetos pieces, crumbs, lint and anything else it could grab and hold.
