DANCING FOOLS WELCOME

The Jockey underwear folks have a neat promotion out that is sure to generate some good buzz, YouTube videos and lots of attention. The company is inviting anyone to tape themselves dancing in their underwear, competing for a $5,000 prize in what they’re calling the “Jockey UnderWars.” Full details are at Jockey UnderWars.com, but basically participants have to tape themselves dancing in their skivvies to one of 16 tunes available at the site. Just 32 finalists will be selected, and they’ll be winnowed down by online votes. The last man (or woman) standing gets $5,000 . . . and a lifetime of bragging rights. Or something. Now, how did that song go? “Just take those old records off the shelf…”
